Proposed New Hotel Plans for 101 S Ocean Blvd.

There is a new proposed "Pompano Hotel" project at 101 S. Ocean Blvd. (The former Bank of America building and parking lot) that I came across while staying up to date regarding the project applications on Briny Ave.
This project is by the same developer as the one who wants to develop 580 Briny Ave.
Again, this developer is choosing to request zoning changes, so that they can build a larger building on the property than would be allowed with their existing zoning.
In the Atlantic Overlay district, the maximum height is 105' with the exception that for commercial developments (i.e. a hotel), they can apply a "slenderness provision" in order to have a height of 210'.
In addition, the proposed plans show that the "TOP OF BUILDING HEIGHT" is listed as a total of 225'.
